Historical Notes

This is the Italian model of the US game Gottlieb's 1966 'Subway'. Subway and its replay version, Gottlieb's 1966 'Cross Town', were the last Gottlieb games to have the manual ball-lift. It was not uncommon for local operators to modify games for 5-digit scoring. Most often, the new digit was a fake "0" but in some cases they added a real counter.
