Historical Notes
The 2-player version of this game is Gottlieb's 1975 'Top Score'. The manufacturer's flyer refers to the parallel side lanes as the "Tantalizing Pin Ball Lane". The two outlanes on the playfield of production games each have their text description of "Adds Bonus" appearing above their rollover switches and inside an area painted blue. In contrast, the playfield in the manufacturer’s flyer shows these blue areas appearing below the rollover switches and, unfortunately, the text they contain are obscured from view. The flyer game may be a Sample game or an Early Production game. We have increased our confirmed production run quantity to include 232 Sample games produced in 1975 that were not part of the former quantity per handwritten documentation identified by Wayne Neyens as coming from Bob Malvasio, a draftsman for Gottlieb whose initials RHM can be found on schematics. Price to operator: $1095 FOB Chicago, per newsletter from authorized distributor dated November 1975.
