Historical Notes
The backglass carries Gottlieb's famous phrase: Amusement Pinballs, as American as Baseball and Hot Dogs! Although the backglass is not silkscreened with the words "Game Over", reportedly this game has a hole in its backbox insert for a bulb to light those words but no light bulb (socket?) and no Game Over relay. With no wires, no words, and no relay, we wonder how can it be known what this hole was for when nothing corroborates it? We have no detailed pictures to explain further. Reportedly, the match unit cuts the power to the flippers when the game is over. We previously showed a date for this game of February 1959. The new date is per Gottlieb documentation.
