Historical Notes

The level of plateau achieved by each player is held in memory from ball to ball for that player using an "AS" Relay acting as a stepper unit, one relay for each player, selected by the Player Unit. This is similar in operation to how the memory feature was designed on Williams' 1966 '8 Ball' which used full-sized stepper units.
