Historical Notes

The manufacturer flyer describes the three targets by stating "They drop when hit!" Unlike the drop targets of later games, the target surface that is hit by the ball remains stationary while a plastic image behind the target drops into the playfield. Another game that used the same style of drop target is Gottlieb's 1951 'Wild West'. An earlier type of drop target appears on Exhibit's 1936 'Trapper'.
