Historical Notes

Unusually, the translite carries the words "Limited Edition". The magnetic ball accelerator on the looping habitrail consists of four square magnetic coils that fire in sequence, controlled by optos and software, and the ball passes through their centers. Features the cast of the theatrical Star Wars movies known as Episodes IV, V, and VI. The cabinet decal artwork and some playfield plastics are exclusive to this Limited Edition model. The Limited Edition translite and cabinet artwork feature the major characters from the Rebellion forces with the notable exception of Luke Skywalker. A limited run of 800 units was produced. Each Limited Edition game came with a serialized number plate, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern, and an autographed collectible signed by designer Steve Ritchie. Each Limited Edition game also came with two extra translites, one from the Pro model and one from the Premium model. Steve Ritchie told us, "There were 23 different art panels to do across all three models, including 3 individual plastics sets, 12 cabinet side & back box art. Lucasfllm requested that each panel be unique." MSRP when new: $8,999
