Historical Notes
This is the first game from United to have a drop chute for coin insertion, replacing the coin slide used on their previous games. United referred to their flippers as "control kickers" on this game. Both flippers operate simultaneously from a single solenoid. The New Game Announcement in The Billboard, Jun-25-1949, page 113, states this game has a high score of 9,990,000 points. However, the millions counter on the backglass only goes to '8'.
