This game consists of two sections: 1) The non-game-specific components. These are the cabinet, backbox, control system, and the lower playfield features (flippers/slingshot assembly, side modules, the in-playfield LCD). The manufacturer refers to these components collectively as the P3 machine (aka P3 Pinball Platform). The P3 machine can host any of several software applications (kits) available from the manufacturer. Each kit transforms the P3 into a unique game with unique rules. 2) The game-specific components. These can be removed from the P3 machine in order to install the other kits from this manufacturer. For "Lexy Lightspeed - Escape From Earth", these components are: • Wooden upper playfield module with artwork and mechanical features and a vertical wooden backboard. • Five magnetic artwork pieces (both sides of cabinet, both sides of backbox, and apron), • Game-specific LL-EE translite. The manufacturer provided these items for extra cost: • Cabinet-shaped sheets of transparent plastic that screw onto the cabinet to protect the artwork from theft or tampering.
