Historical Notes

All the playfields presented here (except one) have a gateless free ball return lane at the top of the right outlane to return the ball to the shooter lane. The game in the flyer image does not appear to have this feature. The exception to that is the alternate playfield shown here which was modified to add flipper return lanes, moving the slingshots forward to the area of the large red inserts, filling in the holes left by the removed inserts with wood, enough to support a small lamp. A ball return lane or gate is seen at the bottom of the right outlane. We don't know who performed this playfield modification or if other examples like it exist.
