Historical Notes
'Gulfstream' was convertible to Replay or Add-A-Ball. This 1-player game used a "split bank" of relays to track two separate playfield objectives: the 1-9 numbers and the S-P-E-C-I-A-L rollovers. The "split bank" was also used in 2-player games such as Williams' 1971 'Solids N Stripes' to track a single playfield objective separately for each player. This game and its add-a-ball version Williams' 1973 'Tropic Fun' were the first Williams games to use their "gear" style of pop bumper cap.
