Historical Notes

'Festival' is the first game from this manufacturer to have flipper return lanes. An earlier game that has carousel roto-targets is Gottlieb's 1966 'Dancing Lady'. An earlier game that has a constantly rotating carousel of targets is Bally's 1940 'Fleet'. Reportedly, an add-a-ball version of the schematic exists. We previously showed a date of August 1966 for this game. However, Chicago Coin announced the game in Cash Box Jan-14-1967 page 55. The first manufacturer ad in The Billboard was dated Jan-28-1967 page 80.
