Flippers (3), Pop bumpers (3), Slingshots (2), Standup targets (14), Scoops (2), Solitary drop target (1), Spinning target (1), Vertical up-kicker to elevated mini-playfield, Left dual inlanes. Thrust magnet. Each of nine lower playfield inserts represent a musical track from the band Aerosmith that plays in connection to a playfield feature. Upper playfield toy box releases balls for multiball. 3,4, 5, or 6-ball multiball. Color LCD. Stereo hi-fi sound with 3-channel amp. Purple powder-coated legs, side armor, hinges, and front lockdown molding. A mirrored backglass is used instead of a translite. This Limited Edition version came with a serialized number plate, the mini-playfield personally signed by the designer, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern.
Historical Notes
Brendon Small did the voice of Jacky. A limited run of 500 units was produced. The artwork for this LE version was advertised as the Dirty Donny Purple "Toy Box" art package, using the nickname of the artist. Reportedly, the version exported to Germany has an additional EMC cage around the CPU and has some additional LEDs for the backglass, as compared to the USA version. However, these differences have not been confirmed to us. We saw on one mini-playfield what looked like a gold-colored signature, "John" but it was not easy to discern. We asked designer John Borg if he had individually signed each playfield there. He replied:Yes, I did sign all LE upper playfields. Some that I signed early on were very faint after hard coating. Used a different pen signing the rest. One of the faint looking signatures ended up on a Premium, I was told.
